Jury: Apple To Pay $625 Mil. For Patent Infringement

A Texas jury has awarded a small tech company $625 million in a patent infringement lawsuit filed against Apple Inc. The lawsuit claimed the computer giant’s technologies Cover Flow, Spotlight and Time Machine violated patents held by Mirror Worlds LLC and awarded the company $208.5 million for each violation. Apple has appealed the ruling.
