Nine's programming coup

TV Tonight reports on a great move by Australia's Nine Network:

In a killer move by the Nine Network, Gordon Ramsay is to open a restaurant at Melbourne's Crown Casino, and the entire project will be filmed in a locally-produced reality series.

As Ramsay's star rises in Oz, surrounded by controversy over his notoriously foul mouth, Nine's move is a brilliant programming manoeuvre.

According to the Courier Mail, Ramsay said he would arrive in June to shoot the show. "It is absolutely very, very exciting," he said.

The search for a chef to run the venue will form the basis of the show, which will air on Nine this year.
