AOC Minutes Links to Full Text Decisions are not compatible with the Apple iPad

By Michael Stevens

ADVERTISEMENTS

Ipad.pic I love my new iPad.  The access it provides me to my case files, emails, pictures, and even legal research through a FaseCase application is incredible. I can use it to digitally dictate with a $10 application (dictamus) or a voice to digital dictation (DragonSpeak - FREE) is cool too.  Note that FastCase, Dictamus, DragonSpeak work on the iPhone as well, but rock on the iPad.  No instant messaging or telephone calls, yet.

However, the links to the full text of decisions contained in the weekly Court of Appeals minutes and the monthly Supreme Court minutes do NOT work.  I tried and tried, and thought it was a problem with my iPad.

Well, it is and it ain't.

I have been told by those smarter than me that the problem lies in the AOC's use of "scripts" for their decision links.  I have no clue how to change it, but I hope some IT guru at AOC reads this and makes changes to implement those pages with an i (eye) for the iPad.

Lots of lawyers are now using iPads, and a prospective change would be nice.

Can you hear me now AOC???
