A lawsuit has been filed against two of the Iowa egg farms that were part of the recall of eggs earlier this month due to a salmonella outbreak. More than 75,000 people may have become sick from the eggs, Bloomberg reports. The lawsuit, filed by individuals from six states, states Wright County Egg and Hillandale Farms of Iowa could have done more to “prevent an outbreak of salmonella poisoning.”
