New of counsel for Connolly Bove in L.A.

Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP has announced that Sanjesh Sharma, previously of Hogan & Hartson LLP, has joined the firm as of counsel at their Los Angeles office in the Intellectual Property Group.

Sharma primarily focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation and counseling, including patent infringement, inventorship, trademark and copyright infringement disputes, patent interference, IP opinion work, licensing and prosecution. She represents companies in various areas of advanced technology such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and consumer electronics. Much of her work within the pharmaceutical industry includes product liability litigation and due diligence relating to the acquisition of assets and technology licensing, as well as responses to Senate Finance Committee inquiries on pricing and off-label use.

Sharma received her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and her B.S. from the University of California, San Diego. She is a member of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles and has been recognized as a ?Rising Star? for Intellectual Property by California Super Lawyers in 2009.
