Colorado Springs Man Gets Double Life for Xbox Murder

A Colorado Springs man has been sentenced to two life sentences and an additional 32 years in prison after being found guilty of first degree murder and aggravated robbery in the death of a mentally handicapped man. 19-year old Kyle Sebastian Stott was found guilty on two charges of first degree murder, aggravated robbery and a bunch of other charges in the death of 22-year old Jason Holley.

while the details of the crime are sketchy, apparently Stott killed Holley for his "Xbox game system." and then dumped his body in North Cheyenne Canyon. Presumed missing at first (January of 2009), authorities found Holley's body months later.

Prosecutor Shannon Gerhart sought harsher sentences - and got them - because Holley was considered an "at-risk victim" because of his handicaps.

"Jason Holley went through a lot and we were just happy we could get justice today," Gerhart said.

Likewise, the family was grateful for the verdict and sentencing; Holley's brother Nikolaus told reporters he and his family finally have some closure in the case. Read More
