Why married guys are hot

ADVERTISEMENTS
Roonie (welcome back!) confesses her crushes on friends' husbands.

Of course you have crushes on your friends' husbands. Look at it this way. You meet a guy in a bar. He's cute, smart, and funny, and he seems into you. But you still think twice before handing over your number: what if he doesn't call like he says he will? If he does follow through, are you willing to let him break your heart?

Now think about your friend's husband. He's cute, smart, and funny. He probably likes you, since you have a lot in common with somebody he loves. Your dear friend thinks he's trustworthy, and you trust her judgment. And he's unattainable, so you don't have to worry about him breaking your heart.

Therein lies the paradox of the hot married guy: if you could actually have him, you wouldn't want him, because he'd turn from your friend's awesome husband into a cheating scumbag.

Your friend might even get a kick out of your crush, as long as she's not the jealous type. It'll remind her that she got a catch.
