: Random Ramblings About Life and Law SchoolWhen it rains, it pours
By Lindsay
There's the married guy who says that his wife told him he can go out and find a friend with benefits. He's not a total stranger, by the way. We knew each other growing up. We weren't friends, but we knew each other. I'm not planning on going there because I don't need or want the drama, but it HAS been a while... Still, I'm going to try to be strong ('cause I'm obviously not being smart). I can't see it ending well, you know? And it's hard to believe that a woman would let her man go sleep with someone else as long as he comes home to her. And their son.
Then there's the bouncer at the local bar. GOOD kisser! And he seems interested, so we'll see.
Then there's the cool guy I met on Sunday night who seemed interested. He's the one I like the best, so of course he's the one who hasn't called! We met at a bar. Naturally. :) He and his friends (one of whom my friend likes) went out after they got off their shift, and we met up with them. He seemed interested, and even asked "So, when am I going to see you again"? at the end of the night. I said "you tell me!" He gave me his number, and I called it so he'd have mine. He wanted me to call him... hmm... which may be why he hasn't called, now that I think of it. Instead, I told him to call me, and that I'd text him to make sure he had my number, which I did. That night. :) I haven't heard back, but I texted him tonight to see if he was going out with the guys again after work tomorrow, so we'll see what happens.
But what do you guys think? When a guy wants you to call him instead of saying he'll call you, what does it mean? Is it 'cause he's afraid you're not as interested in him as he is in you, or is it because it's the opposite? Or am I just reading too much into the whole thing?
And why can't it pour like this more often?
