IRS Prepares to Abuse 13,000 Taxpayers

As I have written before, anyone from the government who appears to “ask a few questions” is not your friend, and is not looking to help you. This is especially true when that government employee wears jack boots issued by the IRS. Let me be as clear as possible about this: NEVER assume the bona fides of an IRS employee. This advice takes on particular significance as the IRS prepares to undertake a new series of random “compliance audits,” through which, they claim, they are trying to refine their procedures and assess the state of tax compliance.
