AZ Gov Meets with Obama; Little Accomplished

By Phil

ADVERTISEMENTS

Via HotAir:

FoxNews reports, in part, the following as a result of the meeting:

President Obama will dispatch an official to sit down with Jan Brewer in the next month but the Arizona governor said Thursday she got few other results from her meeting with the commander-in-chief, including any details about where 1,200 National Guard troops will be deployed along the U.S.-Mexico border.

News from the video worth noting: Gov Brewer says that Obama is leaving it up to the DoJ on how things move forward with suing Arizona over SB1070. She also played coy when a reporter asked her specifically if Obama (or the Administration) had read the law.

Her final comment in the last ten seconds of the video was telling: Let’s secure the border and then we can talk about other solutions.

Go, Jan, go!

Just breaking from a little birdie who was near the meeting at the time:

;-)
