Death of Loyola Law Dean Brian Bromberger

Brian Bromberger, who in recent months announced that he would be retiring this summer as dean of the law school at Loyola University New Orleans, passed away last night.  Bromberger, whose academic career began in the 1960s, had taught at law schools in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.  He assumed Loyola's deanship in 2003, following several years as a professor and associate dean on the law faculty at North Carolina.
