UNDER ATTACK AND SHUT OUT: Minority Judges Not Wanted in Broward County   Ft. Lauderdale, FL ? The T.J. Reddick Bar Association will host a press conference ?Minority Judges -- Not Wanted?? on Friday, April 23, 2010, 12:15 pm, in front of the Broward County Courthouse located at 201 SE 6th Street, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  "Minorities represent 51% of Broward County?s population but they remain vastly under-represented in Broward?s judiciary. Only 4.5% of the judges in Broward County are African-American. Of the approximately 90 judges currently serving Broward County, only 5 are Hispanic and 5 are African-American. This number will likely be further reduced if well respected African-American and other minority judges are unseated because they are perceived to be easy targets...continue to full post
