ERIC HOLDER, DUE-PROCESS CIVIL LIBERTARIAN: “Attorney General Eric Holder told Congress on Tuesday that Osama bin Laden will never face trial in the United States because he will not be captured alive. . . . [Holder] predicted that events would ensure ‘we will be reading Miranda rights to the corpse of Osama bin Laden’ not to the al-Qaida leader as a captive.”
They told me if I voted for McCain, the war on terror would be run by a bloodthirsty cowboy who’d make a mockery of civil liberties. And they were right!
UPDATE: Oh, well — at least we’re not sending people to be tortured anymore. Oh, wait — Target Of Obama-Era Rendition Alleges Torture. Hope and change!
