Apartment, Compliments, Law Ball, and Paper

I think I may have a new place before June hits. I went apartment hunting today, and while the first two were nice and all, the third place absolutely blew me away. Albeit a bit pricy, but the location is great (five minute walk from work and about eight minutes from Nubody?s), the place is incredibly gorgeous, and it has just about everything that I want (especially coin less laundry). Let?s see how this works out!

Lately, I am getting (and truly thankful for the) many compliments in regards to my weight loss progress from my fellow law students. It?s always nice to know that other people are noticing the change. I hopped on the scale today and now am down to 202 pounds (I never thought that I could lose seven pounds in one week). I am still taken aback that I was 260 last year; almost 60 pounds of difference. As some of you know, I am off to Cuba with a few friends at the end of April (four days after my last exam). I never really traveled before and am super excited about this. It?s no surprise that I am trying to lose weight before I go down there, but I don?t want this just to look good for the trip; this is a lifestyle change that I want to make and keep up with. I think I will do a future blog of my actual diet and exercise plan that I am using to help me achieve my heath goals.

Tomorrow night is Law Ball. This should be fun. I missed last year?s for obvious personal reasons, but I wanted to make up for it by going this year.

Anyway, time to get back to this paper of mine.
