A Few Truths & A Lie

By "Daisy Duke"

ADVERTISEMENTS
So today I'm going to share a few things with you. One of them will be a lie....you can vote on which one and then, one day, I'll let you know which one isn't true. Here goes:

- When I was a baby my family owned a Belgian Tervuren , a type of Belgian Shepard. When we had a big move in front of us that didn't seem fair to the pup, we gave him to a Belgian Tervuren breeder we knew. Our pup went on to win Best in Breed at the Westminster Dog Show a few years later.

- As a child I lived in Europe for eight years. In England we rented a house owned by Bruce Beresford, and thus began my link to "Daisy".

- I was a high school debater and cheerleader. I was significantly better at the debate portion then the cheerleading portion. Which says a lot about me now I suppose.

- I almost cut my finger off one Christmas morning I was younger; and I stuck my hand in a snowbank outside my house while I screamed for help. My Dad had to go outside later that day and shovel away the bloody snow so as not to alarm the neighbors. The finger was sewn back together and now I have a cool scar.

- I have evacuated from three, count that three, hurricanes in the Gulf Coast. For the hurricanes I traveled to Nashville, Savannah and Dallas. Not one of the hurricanes was "The Big One" a/k/a Katrina, which hit shortly after I moved out of the greater New Orleans area.

- My brother was a Junior Olympic skier (racing not freestyle) until he shattered his leg into smithereens doing some freestyle tricks while he waited for a training run down a race course. Then he was in a hip to toe-tips cast for 8 months while he grew his leg bones back together. He had to take weird Japanese calcium supplements to help speed up the process.

So which of these super fun super awesome stories is not true?
