This weekend, I got the heck out of dodge. As BISMOW was giving me a grand tour of his college campus, I enjoyed the scenery. I even took a photo:

Now imagine me a few feet away from said pretty picture, sprawled out on the ground, knee bleeding, slush all over me, bags on the ground. Because that is a pretty accurate mental image of how the trip went. I am such a spaz. That and there was a wicked patch of invisible ice. Reason number one I chose to go to college in, say, New Orleans. Reason number two? This is the sort of stuff that happens near my parents house, and reason number two I decided college near the family down South sounded nice:

Why good morning to you Mr. Moose. Coffee? Our neighbor's trees? Help yourself.

The Louisiana bar exam is sounding more and more appealing.
