US Patent 7339401 - Boolean logic with CNT switches

This is yet another basic patent to Nantero for carbon nanotube electronics which lays claim to basic Boolean logic circuits such as NOT, NOR, and NAND which is a sufficient basis to establish any conceivable logic function. Due to the resistance switching capabilities of nanotube fabrics this can present some useful advantages to programmable logic networks such as FPGAs. Claim 1 reads:

1. A Boolean logic circuit, comprising at least one set of differential input terminals and an output terminal; a network of nanotube switching elements electrically disposed between said at least one set of differential input terminals and said output terminal; said network of nanotube switching elements effectuating a Boolean function transformation of Boolean signals on said at least one set of differential input terminals.
