Luce Forward announces new San Diego leadership changes

Yesterday Luce Forward announced several leadership changes, including four in San Diego.

Partner Dennis Doucette will now serve as co-chair of the firm's business/corporate practice group with Rick Frimmer.

Dennis Doucette practices in corporate, securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and venture financing. His mergers and acquisitions experience includes representation of buyers and sellers in mergers, stock and asset purchases, management buyouts, and related transactions.

Rick Frimmer has over 30 years of experience as corporate and tax counsel to public and private organizations on capital formation, acquisitions, forward strategic planning and turnaround implementation. He has litigated major commercial and tax cases for Spang & Co. and Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority.

Additionally, Marie Burke Kenny will head the labor and employment practice group and Kenneth Stipanov will manage the firm's real estate transactional practice group.

Marie Burke Kenny represents employers in federal and state court litigation involving wage and hour, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation and unfair competition claims. She is also an adjunct professor of employment law for San Diego State University's Human Resources Certification Program.

Kenneth Stipanov has wide experience in the area of commercial real property transactions, with particular expertise in the acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing of neighborhood shopping centers, having been engaged in over one billion dollars' worth of such transactions in the last few years.He has represented a variety of clients, including closely-held portfolios, institutional-type investment companies, end-users, and family groups.
