Brown-Out*: Coakley: No Religious Freedom in ERs; Terrible AG Record; More Polling Data

Excellent video (huge h/t JammieWearingFool), above, in full post mode, to go along with an earlier video posting.

She wasn’t satisfied in disclaiming any knowledge in the “Reporter Down” incident, nor in making a strike-out against Fenway Park fans. Nope; instead, she had to take it one giant leap further (h/t GatewayPundit):

Democrat Martha Coakley was on with Ken Pittman from WBSM in Massachusetts [yesterday]. …

From the interview:

Ken Pittman: Right, if you are a Catholic, and believe what the Pope teaches that any form of birth control is a sin. ah you don?t want to do that.

Martha Coakley: No we have a seperation of church and state Ken, lets be clear.

Ken Pittman: In the emergency room you still have your religious freedom.

Martha Coakley: (??uh, eh?um..) The law says that people are allowed to have that. You can have religious freedom but you probably shouldn?t work in the emergency room.

The entire interview is posted here. [emphases original]

After you pick your jaw up from off the floor, visit RedState’s analysis of this latest stumble (with which I completely agree).

It is, however, quite unfortunate that this isn’t the worst aspect of Ms. Coakley’s thinking. Her history as the Bay State’s top law enforcement officer (the RedState link to which I just referred goes a bit into this) is checkered, to say the least:

Perhaps much of the above helps us understand — as RedState reports (*the source of my headline) — the results of a poll showing that Brown leads Coakley 50% to 46%, albeit still relatively within the margin of error. But who’dathunkit would be this close?

I think the following cartoon sums things up very well:

Priorities

LibertarianRepublican posts that many libertarians are making a last-minute swing away from the third-party candidate. It also appears that the recent appeal from Vicki Kennedy, the late Senator’s widow, may also be backfiring as well. And while I’m aware that PajamasMedia also has a late poll out showing a 15% lead for Scott Brown, I simply refuse to trust that there is that much of a gap between the candidates at this point. Of course, wouldn’t that be mind-blowing if true?

There have been unconfirmed reports that the Lt. Col. has been raking in a million dollars a day every day this week; maybe anecdotal evidence such as this is the reason why the mainstream media refuses to report on the hidden story that “[c]onservative and liberal Republicans are united behind Scott Brown.”

Referring back to the video headlining this posting, FoundingBloggers had this sentiment to say — and it couldn’t be more true than now:

The best part of the video below is the section which talks about not needing another armed revolution precisely because of the gift given to us by those who did take up arms against their oppressors.

Revolt. Vote.

“Art in Idaho” explains that the rest of us who want true change from an out-of-control DC are awaiting your decision:

Citizens of Massachusetts, this is your Concord and Lexington! We are with you on the bridge.

I can’t wait until next Tuesday. Regardless of whether the State Senator wins or loses, it’s already been a game-changer for the Democrats.

See my highlighted coverage under the Category, MA Senate.
