Raising our proprietary "Bentzen Whinge Meter" (see below left column ) to 3.9%...

In September 2008, Rhonda Bentzen said it was "business as usual" during the height of the financial crisis. Subsequently a transfer of structured settlement payment rights of a Connecticut woman that was referred to her by Ron Sullivan of Bradford Settlements  (involving a "wet ink"structured settlement that Sullivan created) and it took 6 months to resolve!

On July 28, 2009, in relation to the same story, Rhonda Bentzen stated that the factoring company has the right to vacate a court order and walk away leaving the annuitant to start again with another company at a much higher (discount) rate. The "Good Ship" Bentzen "chose not to vacate the order, as she "chooses not to do business that way.  She ALSO said that one of my competitors walked away from hundreds of court orders!"

We simply want to know WHO has "walked away from hundreds of court orders"? Given that the question was asked about 6 months ago and remains unanswered the question of WHY arises. Why make a statement and then retreat when asked to prove it? Every day that the question goes unanswered increases doubts about Rhonda Bentzen''s credibility. She made the statement, now she must prove it! Otherwise do we deduce she's sailing the "Good Ship Lie-Lee Poop"?

On December 12, 2007 Rhonda Bentzen stated that 90% of the structured settlement industry customers she works with take the financial payments that she offered for referring structured settlement factoring business to her. There needs to be no further proof that such payments reduce the amount that a desperate annuitant receives if they sell structured settlement payment rights.

s  A "Dowdful Statistic" Harvey?

In December 2009 Bentzen said that the statistic is outdated. This author has been pressing her to publish a new statistic in the public interest and the interest of the industry, but this too is being to resemble "something imaginary."

At this point the long silence on our question "Do you personally think it's ethical for a company to advertise "fast cash now" and then deliver 6-11 months later?" leads one to draw one's own conclusion.
