: National Eminent Domain BlogCadeville Gas Storage Project
By Alan Ackerman
To protest the proceedings one must have had filed any comments on or before December 14, 2009. This is a major project in Louisiana for gas storage. I hope that citizens take the time to voice their concerns.The staff of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC or
Commission) will prepare an environmental assessment (EA) that will
discuss the environmental impacts of the Cadeville Gas Storage Project
(Cadeville Gas Storage) involving construction and operation of
facilities by Cadeville Gas Storage LLC (Cadeville Gas) in Ouachita
Parish, Louisiana. This EA will be used by the Commission in its
decision-making process to determine whether the project is in the
public convenience and necessity.
