: ZeroPaidVye Music Lets You Find, Download Music for FREE
Search engine indexes hundreds of thousands of music sites, blogs and artist pages and lets you lets you build playlists, stream songs, and download them.
Vye Music is a meta-music-search-engine that pulls music file search results from around the Internet and collates it all into a simple user interface. The available tracks can be played in full, shared across social networks, or with direct links, downloaded in full, and even organized into music playlists.
Created by 16yo Charles Att, the site, which indexes content on hundreds of thousands of other sites, is legal because it it doesn’t actually host any copyrighted material.
“Vye Music permits users to download the content, operating under the premise that exterior copyright controls (i.e. the copyright compliance of our APIs and content hosters) as well as users' own judgment will let users stay well within the law,” he says.
It’s not exactly revolutionary, people have been using Google to do this for years, but overall the Vye Music’s pretty decent, especially if you’re looking for a way to quickly download a track or two without having to fire up your BitTorrent client.
Stay tuned.
