: IPBiz48% of surveyed students admit to cheating
By Lawrence B. Ebert, Esq.
Rutgers University professor Don McCabe has done surveys for the Center for Academic Integrity each year since 2002 on the issue.
His results show that 48 percent of the 70,000 undergraduate students surveyed said they?ve done written cheating, which includes plagiarism, submitting work done by someone else or other forms of dishonesty.
As to signing pledges like: ?On my honor, I have neither given nor received aid in completing this assignment,? recall Princeton requires a pledge and also had one of the more interesting LITIGATED plagiarism cases. See also the record of the military academies.
