Recalled - Electrolux ICON And Kenmore PRO Gas Ranges

Electrolux Home Products Inc., announced a voluntary recall of Electrolux ICON and Kenmore Pro 30' Gas Ranges.

According to a CPSC news release, the recall involves 'An incorrect part allows more fuel to pass to the range's oven than can be burned efficiently, causing incomplete combustion and the release of carbon monoxide. This poses a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning to consumers.'

To this date, no injuries have been reported. But the company has been notified of four incidents which involved carbon monoxide being released from the recalled ranges.

Below are the model and serial numbers of the stove ranges included in the recall. Please note, not all serial numbers within the ranges are included.

Consumers should stop using the oven's and contact Electrolux for the Electrolux ICON or Sears for Kenmore PRO to schedule a free repair. The top burners and broiler as well as clock and/are timer can still be used.
