South Carolina Bar Counsel Wastes Money, Time

There's a remarkable new opinion out of the South Carolina Supreme Court that slams the Office of Bar Counsel position on a lawyers TV ad. The amount of effort the bar put into this ill-advised effort, coupled with their total illogic,is scary.

Basically, this was lawyer advertising enforcement gone wild, this time, courtesy of the South Carolina bar. Only problem, the Court didn't go far enough...the Court should have ordered the bar to apologize for wasting everyone's time and money.
