1. There are some truths about the world that I'd really like to know.  The current hottest one on my list is, "Whether generic products are the same or as good as their name-brand counterparts."
2. I was dying for a new book to read.  Tried Life of Pi and  some book about the 60's, but neither took.  Finally found one:  Conspiracy of Fools.  I'm only about 40 pages in and hooked.  No Houstonian should go without reading this book.
3. Did you know that streak-running is a thing?  Yeah, there are people out there (lots of them it turns out) who have been running every date for over 30 years.  And without ever missing a day.  Don't know how they would verify, but still.
4. UT basketball team is looking really good.  Projections anyone?
