Normal-People Hours, Kinda

Today marks the start of a momentous occasion: my return to normal-people work hours.

It happened a week early, which is good and bad. On the plus side, it’s one less week of zombie hours. On the down side, I was planning on having some free days this week, so I’ll have to re-arrange some things.

I forced myself to bed early last night after changing my alarm (if I never have to set an alarm for 4:00pm again, I won’t complain about that) but after a week of going to bed and waking up whenever I felt like it, I forgot to actually, you know, turn it on. I woke up when my boss called to make sure I wasn’t in jail. Oops.

It’s going to take a few days to get back into the swing of things. Fortunately I have a happy hour this Wednesday, I’m headed to IL to see R.J. (he’s back from the sandbox for the rest of the month), and football is so close I can taste it.

I love the Fall.
