UA lab workers in Bexar allegedly took bribes but no one reported crimes

Apparently the private lab providing urinalysis services to the Bexar probation department has more problems than just a shocking number of false positives; a couple of lab workers have been accused of taking bribes in exchange for false negatives, but nobody thought to inform police or prosecutors about the corruption and fraud. Reports the SA Express News ("Alleged bribery never probed," July 26):Two technicians at a local urinalysis lab were terminated earlier this year after being accused of taking bribes from Bexar County probationers in exchange for clean drug tests, officials confirmed.
