The utility of a gossip is only as good as the quality of the intelligence.

I wish I could afford to buy the Halpern Group. I am however, not one of the top 10 banks in the United States.

But upon reading Bentzen's 3rd post of the day ABOUT ME (bringing her "obsession" to 82.35% of her posts since December 1, 2007) it seemed appropriate to contact Rich Halpern for comment. Here is his response:

"In realizing she's (Bentzen) not referring to me as a real plaintiff broker, The Halpern Group is definitely NOT a plaintiff broker so if she's referencing us (as not being one) I thank her. I didn't think she had the capacity to understand the difference between "recovery management consultants" and plaintiff brokers and for that, I thank her""

"I thank Ms. Bentzen and the entire factoring industry because they are the greatest walking billboards for why people should do business with The Halpern Group imaginable, since our products, structured settlements or otherwise, are the only ones that cannot be factored".
