An employee at a nursing home accused of raping a patient is facing felony charges. The man was charged with second-degree rape, a felony, and endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person. The man is accused of having sexual intercourse with a female patient who has a mental disability. The woman?s mental condition made it unable to consent to the intercourse, making it rise to level of sexual abuse.
