On private counsel

I have a client on a three defendant vandalism case. One of the Co-D's is represented by a bar panel attorney (court appointed attorney because our office declared a conflict) and one is represented by private counsel. And private counsel is a big ass. My client has wanted to take the deal from day one, but since it is a package deal he cannot do so unless everyone else is on board as well. And they all must plead on the same day. At the first pre-trial both my client and the bar panel's client were present in court ALL DAY LONG. Private counsel and his client were no where to be found. The bar panel attorney had other places to be but got stuck waiting around until private counsel showed up.
