Foxholes

By NoReinsGirl

ADVERTISEMENTS
Aren't just for war. They are good for law school too. Don't even think about peeking out while in one because you will get taken out, and fast. Tonight began the foxholing and I was laying low. Mind you, I can banter with the best of them and be willing to talk in class.

Not anymore.

It was on the minute someone asked an innocent question. Prof answered and finished said answer with "now you can brief Blahblah v Blahblah". O_O I'm not even raising my hand like a lemming. Lay low, say nothing, blend in to the background of faces. Three people brief per case and its fast and furious. No worries about mates giggling at you while you brief since they are too busy reading and prepping for their turn.

I do have to say...the Socratic method has merit. I like it. I like the questioning and I like the exploration of all sides, right or wrong.

I'm thinking a good Ginny Suit, briefs, and a laptop will serve me well this term. Got a good study group rolling, time management rocking, and staying low.

Don't make eye contact, tho. No eye contact, made in the shade. (Thanks, TheNambyPamby!)
