: [ Useless Dicta ]One Million Five Thousand Seventy Six Eight Hundred Minutes
My last day at my internship was today. While I know that it is necessary that I take the next 2.5 months off to focus full time on studying for and passing useless state's bar exam, it was a little sad to be leaving. I didn't think it would be. I don't know if I have a full time offer yet, but I do know that I'll be going back to my internship in August. So I knew that today wasn't actually the end of something, and that's why I didn't think that today would be a big deal. But all the goodbyes, and well wishes, and hugs really got to me and as I was leaving I found that for some reason my eyes starting getting wet with tears as I was saying bye to my boss (who was also teary eyed herself- she really is kind of like a mom to me). It just doesn't seem real that somehow this is all over.**
Law school graduation is at 10am tomorrow morning, a mere 780 minutes away. When I started my last final this past Monday I had a grin from ear to ear, because I knew it was the very last time I'd ever be sitting down to battle a law school exam. When the final ended I practically ran from the exam room, I couldn't get out of there fast enough. But despite the exhilaration of finally finishing, for some reason the fact that I'm graduating tomorrow hasn't quite sunk in yet. Honestly it might not sink in until it's over. Or maybe it'll finally hit me when I'm forced to put on the hideous awful hat they are forcing us to wear tomorrow. Regardless of when it finally sinks in, one thing is certain, those million minutes sure did go fast.
* Not quite as catchy as 525,600 minutes, extra credit for naming that musical!
** I realized after writing this post that I seem to have a constant theme for the last two weeks of "I can't believe how fast it went." So apparently I still don't believe it and promise to find new blogging themes/materials when bar review starts on Monday
