ADVERTISEMENTS

Ok, so it looks like the name is settled and I might have a line on a host that'll take the site... So now I need to figure out where to register the domain (and no, I will not give GoDaddy any business after they gave the Seattle police the InjusticeInSeattle.com domain name for free to siphon traffic from here).
It also looks like I'll be using WordPress, tried out the Wordpress.com flavor once, don't remember squat about it... should be interesting. At least I'll get rid of the fixed width format with two column limit here, that'll be nice.
The host I might be going with will take a week to set up it seems, and then it'll take me a lot longer than that to configure everything, create new graphics, etc... so I may be stuck with this lame duck site for a while yet... disappointed about that, but it'll be worth the wait to do this right I suppose. (just wish it was easier to do this right, I might be out of my depth here trying to figure out how to design a new site! HINT: Any help with all the technical stuff will be greatly appreciated!).
In any case, I'll keep the National Police Misconduct News Feed going and will just keep hoping that support doesn't drop off too badly in the interim.
Thanks for all the help so far, folks, I really do appreciate it.
