The judge told the man he was lucky.
When 48-year-old John Craig Homans of Brunswick Georgia pleaded no contest to DUI and driving with a suspended license, Judge Wendy Berger told him "You're lucky you haven't killed yourself or somebody else".
Homans was sentenced to four years in prison for his eight DUI offense. He told the judge he finally got the message.
