My Friend. She Has a Blog!

By "Daisy Duke"

ADVERTISEMENTS
A friend of mine, we'll call her Lindsey, has a new blog.  Actually we can call her Lindsey because unlike ahem, some of us she isn't anonymous. Whatever I say!  Whatever. Don't come crying to me asking me to pick up the pieces of your hacked up body after some crazy stalker finds you and hunts you down.

(Ok fine, we don't live in Boston, the likelihood is slim. Still! It could happen!)

I digress. Lindsey's blog is a fun mix of real estate and food which personally are my two favorite things. She's a realtor here in Chicago and if you happen to be condo hunting (.....multi million dollar home hunting....) or even apartment searching she is your lady. That and she is pretty funny and good looking (ahem gentlemen) so if nothing else you'll look like a stud while you check out houses you can't afford.

You should check her out at: http://abodealamode.blogspot.com/ peruse & perhaps leave a message. She has some ingenious restaurant cards for those of you tasting the culinary delights of Chicago so be sure to pay attention to that. Otherwise, give Ms. Lindsey some blog love and let her see how awesome The Internet People really are.

(I think that some of my awesome friendships with The Chicago Blogging Contingency & Overflowing Brain speak to the power of the internet in a non-Craigslist-killer kind of way. That and I spent this past Mardi Gras hanging out with some of the best NOLA locals I've ever met(through The Internet no less!) and I hope they don't mind when I come back. Again and again. Here's to you NOLA Notes & Pontchartrain Pete!)

(Except the one time my Uncle found a nanny on Craigslist and it was all cool until the fed's showed up and arrested her. True story. Needless to say he now finds his nannies at his local church.)
