Money Freakout

ADVERTISEMENTS
For some reason I decided I should check my student loan accounts. I about had a heart attack when I found that payments on my grad plus loans start NEXT FREAKING MONTH. Apparently there is no grace period on those. AHHHHHH.

Thankfully after some frantic calls I found out that a forbearance can be applied to the grad plus loans to align my first payment on those with my first payment on my stafford loans (ie: give me a 6 month grace period). All it took was some being nice to the crabby loan lady on the other end of the phone.

So crisis adverted for now. But come January 2010 I've got some serious $$$ due to uncle sam, and even if I have a job by that point it's still going to suck to fork it over.
