: Legal Pad | LALitigation boutique dissolves for Steptoe

Three lawyers from Los Angeles litigation boutique McNamara, Spira & Smith, including founder Michael McNamara, have joined Steptoe & Johnson's Century City, Calif., office.
McNamara joined Washington-based Steptoe as a partner, while Kirsten Spira joined of counsel and J. Patrick Jacobs as special counsel.
The move effectively dissolves McNamara, Spira & Smith, which McNamara, as managing partner, founded in 1993 after leaving Los Angeles-based Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he was a partner.
