Senate passes bill to deny shock probation in DUI death cases
The Ky. State Senate approved SB 25 Thursday, which would prohibit shock probation for DUI convictions where someone was killed. A similar prohibition already exists for violent offenses. ?They may not be violent offenders, but their victims suffered a violent death,? said Sen. Jack Westwood, the bill?s sponsor. Westwood noted that Kentucky is one of only six states ........
