Okay...it was a brutal final. None of the practice exams, nor dry runs in class matched this whatsoever. I believe my exact words were "What the F***?!" and managed to invent a few new swear words after leaving the building.Honestly, it was a half-assed written question that insulted what we've learned this semester. Sure, I get the unclear hypo since that's how law is in the real world and yet this was half-assed and stupid. All of us were frustrated and angry last night at how the exam was written.
The bluntness is deserved.
However, nailed the issues and wrote fast. God bless Copy + Paste. Hands hurt from typing so fast, so by the end of the exam I was tapping out. One pretty much has to go on auto-pilot during these things. Know your law, know the writing formula, spot the issues, drop in the facts...and write as fast and furious as coherently possible and keep one eye on the clock.
And for the love of creation, don't panic or let your mind wander. That is death.
Didn't sleep too good during the night and I believe it to be the culmination of pushing so hard over the last couple of weeks. Still have not unwound and do not know why I thought the unwinding would happen quickly. It's not and won't happen fast...the decompression from pushing hard will take a little time.
Despite the change-up spitball of an exam I did my absolute best and was prepared for it. It's over, I have one of many semesters under my belt, and I'm thrilled at my success this semester. I won't question or second-guess the exams. They. Are. Over. And. Done. Tough finish and I pushed hard as hell.
So, yeah...I owned this bitch called law. It's mine and I'm not letting up until I pass the bar in a few years.
This match is on.
