Paying Off The Nasty Loans

ADVERTISEMENTS
**Disclaimer, the advice contained within this post is most likely (okay totally NOT) legal***

Last weekend while we were interviewing the enthusiastic 1 and 2L students for next year's Journal Board, a fellow current board member decided all of us current board peeps should come up with a brilliant ponzi scheme, split the profits, and pay off our law school loans in 12 months flat. He's been valiantly trying to figure out how to start such a thing for the past 7 days now. (I'm only half kidding about this- he's very serious about this after a couple of beers).

While the ponzi scheme is intriguing to say the least, I think I came up with a better idea this evening. I need to create the next hot business that will make 100% of its profits by feeding off of people's fears and promising that for a price those fears can be overcome.

I got this brilliant idea when I begrudgingly handed over my VISA this evening to PMBR for the promise of a 90% chance of passing the bar. The bastard who thought up the idea of PMBR is one brilliant rich guy, that's for damn sure. Now if only I was both brilliant at business and a slime ball at the same time, I'd have my law school loans paid off in no time!!
