MSNBC's David Shuster Suspended

Sometimes your service at a restaurant is so bad, you might be tempted to complain to a manager. No server taking your order, slow or cold food, a poor meal experience, etc.

And the hope is always that you'll get either an apology or some/all of your meal comped. You got enough of what you wanted to make you happy again.

The goal is never to get the waiter fired.

But that's what happened to MSNBC's David Shuster, who I mentioned before. Except for now, it's just a suspension.

The guy said that Hillary was pimping out her daughter. Not cool. But he apologized, said it was inappropriate, and clearly won't be doing it again.

I think going farther is the equivalent of firing the waiter.
