"Judge Keller coverage: Are we missing anything?," is reporter Russ Dunklin's post at the Dallas Morning News' DMN Investigates Blog.The investigation team's Steve McGonigle broke news last week that the Texas' highest criminal court judge, Sharon Keller, failed to list nearly $2 million in assets on state filings. Steve was looking at her finances because Keller (right) wanted taxpayers to pay her defense against ethics charges. They stemmed from her decision to close her office before a death-row inmate could file a last-minute appeal, ensuring his execution. The omissions reminded Steve of a 1999 Dallas Observer story.
