I fully admit that at least half of the movies on your "must see" or "favorite" list I haven't seen. Even if you roll your eyes and deem it a classic and tell me how you've watched it 100,000 times, every single weekend in college, anytime it comes on television you stop and must. watch. the. whole. thing. I'll just shrug my shoulders and smile a little while fully admitting to never having seen it. This has something to do with strict parents who wouldn't let me watch PG-13 movies until I was 13 and living in Europe for 8 years which really puts a damper on "new releases."

We can take this a step further and I'll admit that at least half of the movies on my "must see" list will make you roll your eyes in disgust. "Daisy!" you'll say, "That is a horrible film!" And I will shrug my shoulders and smile a little while fully admitting that I've watched it 100,000 times, every single weekend in college, anytime it comes on television I must stop. and watch. the whole. thing.

The only James Bond flick I've ever seen was Casino Royale. I have however seen every single Elvis Presley film. Twice. I watched the last of the Lord of the Rings movies because hello! I read the book! I know what happens and YAWN. I only went to the last movie because my Dad made me with threat of bodily harm if I didn't participate in family movie night. The Ocean's 11-13 movies? Love them. Tropic Thunder? Turned it off after 10 minutes. Old School I loved but all the other movies that fall into that genre? Lame.  Titanic? Ahhh my guilty pleasure. Harry Potter movies? I could watch them all day. Apollo 13, As Good As It Gets, The Guardian, Forrest Gump, Ray, Braveheart, Somethings Gotta Give and Saving Private Ryan? Best. Movies. Ever. Rachel Getting Married....it made me sea sick and I only made it through 25 minutes before turning it off. The only "Christmas" movies I like are Miracle on 34th Street and Love Actually. This might be because I've never seen It's A Wonderful Life, but also because A Christmas Story and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation are not that funny. Or interesting. Or captivating. I have however seen every single Star Wars movie ever made and for the most part, I love them. Star Trek though? Boorrrrring.  I love every single animated Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks movie ever except Fantasia (awful!) but unlike some people, I adored Wall-E. And Lion King and Toy Story, Cinderella, Shrek, Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo and the rest of the gang. Bugs Life? Hilarious.

I've also never seen Philadelphia but I've watched A Time To Kill and To Kill a Mockingbird a zillion times. Wonderful movies about lawyers. I only recently saw A Few Good Men and this is because BISMOW was embarrassed I hadn't seen it & I called myself a Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson fan.

So tell me...what movies am I missing out on? What movies are your guilty pleasure? What movies did "everyone" love that you couldn't stand to watch for more than ten minutes? Make me feel better for my taste in film. Please. I need it.
