How do you judge a web developer? Its not the ones cold-calling you

By Ben Glass

ADVERTISEMENTS

Cybertechnologies (WebOpts) were are it again last week.

This time they were cold calling lawyers (what business needs to cold call these days?) and telling them "you are not being found on Google for your search terms.

Unfortunately for them they called Great Legal Marketing Mastermind member (and long time Foster Web Marketing Client) Bob Battle. They told Bob "hey, you aren't being found."

So Bob walked them through it. He showed them how he dominates page one of Google for Richmond, VA, DUI attorney and the caller basically said "oh...." Obviously had been reading from a script and hadn't done any work before the call.

Hey, if you are being dominated in your marketplace by your competition, a pretty good test is to see who developed that site. Its pretty simple. In fact, a real good clue. Then give that developer a call. There is no need for the good web developers to be cold calling folks.
