And Then I Cried

I hope everyone had a lovely first weekend of Spring! Mine was certainly busy busy busy- so busy in fact that I forgot about a photo for Fat Baby Friday. Have no fear ~ and adorable photo of Baby Z arrived in my in-box along with another extra special delivery.... LBA has its very first baby birth from a reader and we could not be happier for the young family. Stop by here to see all the excitement. Congratulations Chela, hubby & the wee one!

Among other things this weekend, BISMOW and I worked on our wedding website. Silly perhaps, but for a destination shindig it serves as an important way to send out hotel & travel information while the deals are still hot and the save-the-dates are not quite ready. Anyway, there was an "about" section and BISMOW and I took the opportunity to poke some fun at each and fill it out for the other one.

Well at least it was all fun and games until he made me cry.

So I figured I'd share with you a little bit about me, from BISMOW's point of view:

Daisy is a smart, talented and beautiul attorney with a heaping spoonful of Southern charm (by way of Europe and Utah) trying to find her way in the bigggest small town in the Midwest. A loyal friend, sorority sister and family girl, she finds the most joy in reading, writing, cooking, and determining who bears liability in just about any situation (lawyers...). When she's not immersed in a book, elbow deep in a new recipe, or carefully crafting an ironclad legal argument, you can find her spending time enjoying the finer things in life like a lazy Sunday afternoon playing with dogs at the Anti-Cruelty Society Shelter, browsing the way back section of a used book store searcing for the first edition of the perfect literary masterpiece, or maybe even enjoying a cocktail on an outdoor patio or a boat surrounded by her many friends. Because lets face it, there will always be a court call on Monday, so you may as well enjoy the time you have when a suit is not required...

PS- I had a job interview today. Shhhhh. Just think good thoughts!
