Fields of Athenry (pronounced Athen-rye, as in ryhmes with 'lie') is probably my favorite Irish song from childhood. I knew every word at a very very young age.

"Let's not have a sniffle, let's have a bloody-good cry
And always remember: The longer you live
The sooner you'll bloody-well die"
