: Legally Blonde AmbitionThis Post Was Way Cooler In My Head

ADVERTISEMENTS
The part of blogging that I didn't realize was part of blogging until I started blogging was that you look at things in your life as blog fodder. I find myself constantly rating situations, parties, conversations in many ways. BISMOW being excited not about the great deal on our honeymoon but instead the king sized bed? Ehhh, mildly funny. Katie thinking I left a note on her Facebook page regarding chemistry? Only funny if you saw my big fat W (for withdrawal) on my college transcript right next to chemistry 101. Me singing Garth Brooks while preparing pot roast for dinner tonight? Not funny at all. In fact, downright scary. I can't sing at all. So today I had this idea I was going to write this awesome post about how unemployment, while the total pits, has led to the Wednesday Night Club* in which we, the un-and-under-employed (except for Artful & Grace which is why we always try to make them pay...) meet up for...... say it with me now...... dollar beer nights.
Woooooooo.
Dollar! Bud Light! Cheap and tasteless!
But then I realized that was the entire story of our awesome employment stati. (Status = stati, right?) And that just didn't seem like such an awesome blog post. We don't have a lot of money but we have a lot of time (sort of) so we are now planning on spending our Wednesday nights drinking cheap beer & eating the occasional chicken wing. Or mac & cheese bite. Or if you are me, a boring chicken sandwich. Yay for being healthy.......... But yes. That is the Wednesday Night Club and how unemployment has led to bigger & better things.
Somehow I've managed to turn that nothing into something. You might find it to be complete drivel, unless of course you follower my Twitter feed, and in that case, well, Wednesday night is about to get a whole lot cooler.

(Oh and I'm curious. Should I keep posting recipes? Or no? They don't seem to bringing in much of a response and I've noticed readership drops on those days, so I'm asking: to cook or not to cook?)
