: P.I.S.S.D. -- Personal Injury, Social Security DisabilityMarch of the Blogs - New York Bankruptcy Litigation
By Robert Kraft
For the month of March, I am going to highlight blogs that I think are interesting and useful. Some may not be directly related to personal injury or Social Security disability law, but all of us who represent injured and disabled people occasionally need help in other areas. A few have been featured here before, but they keep getting better. Today's entry in March of the Blogs:
Jay Fleischman is a New York City bankruptcy lawyer who has had so many blogs and Web sites over the years that it's a little hard to keep up with him. For now though, among his many other projects, Jay is writing the New York Bankruptcy Litigation blog.
Jay has been a consumer bankruptcy lawyer since 1995, and his expertise definitely shows on his blog. It's a great resource for consumers with debt problems, and for bankruptcy lawyers as well. Jay is also well-versed in the technology of law, and uses this knowledge in running his virtual law firm. That's one more reason to follow Jay around the Internet - you'll find lots of technology tips and practice management information from him. Here's how Jay describes himself:
I?m a lifelong New Yorker, born and raised in Brooklyn. My wife and I have been married since 2000, and started dating during college. We have a dog who runs the house, but that?s fine by us. Our son is the best thing that every happened to us.
My office is designed to make the most of technology. That doesn?t just mean I use the Internet and send e-mail - I do, but that?s not a big deal. My team is scattered around the country, coming together to work on projects that call for specialized attention. My entire office is paperless, which means I can access any and all files at the touch of a button. Phone system, faxes, voice mail all follows me anywhere I go, which makes me mobile. It lets me work smarter - and harder - for my clients.
