OH- Ohio Senate Approves New Sex Offender Law

3-11-2009 Ohio:COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio Senate has passed a bill to prevent sex offenders from living within 1,000 feet of schools or day care facilities even if they committed their crimes before passage of a state law prohibiting such residency.The Senate voted 30-0 Tuesday in response to a 2008 Ohio Supreme Court decision that says the sex offender residency law could not be applied
